With over 150 episodes that are 2 hours a piece, it’s tough to know where to start.
Although they are all unique, there are central themes that go along with common guests. It depends on what interests or inspires you the most. For example, many listeners are aspiring stand up comics that want to hear stories from inside the LA comedy scene. On the other hand, some listeners are looking to dig deeper into the mixed martial arts world. The secret is that the guest usually dictates what type of conversations will be held. For anyone that is not as familiar with the regulars, we came up with some advice.
For all aspiring stand ups and comedy fans, my personal favorites would most likely be the episodes with Neal Brennan or Joey Diaz. This is where you will find them talking about what it takes and how they got started. Just about every comic that comes on talks about their start up troubles and how they finally made it. Speaking of Joey – If you don’t know by now, you are late. Don’t worry, grab a Joey Diaz podcast and you’ll be caught up shortly. I’m not sure how he is not mainstream but at least there are plenty of episodes.
Also check out : Ari Shaffir, Dane Cook, Bill Burr.
For all MMA fighters and fans, I would suggest a recent episode with Eddie Bravo. They always discuss mixed martial arts results and upcoming matches. Eddie Bravo is brilliant and I’m sure you will be going back to hear all of this eventually.
For the philosophical, technology obsessed listener, there’s only one solution here. These are my favorite conversations and really what sets his podcast apart from those of other comedians. Duncan Trussell. Find the latest Duncan Trussell podcast and dive into conspiracy theories, apocalypse possibilities, and the implications of tomorrow’s technologies. Duncan always has a new way to look at the world. These are my personal favorites and the only ones that I listen to more than once. Duncan also has his own podcast, but it seems to be more comedic than his input on the Joe Rogan Experience.
Also check out : Jason Silva, Bryan Callen.
If you just aren’t sure, grab the most recent one. You will hear about recent events and insight on relevant topics. It is also a great way to be informed without being bored to death.

I am sure that you will find something of value in any episode. As you go along, you will become familiar with the core Deathsquad group of Joey Diaz, Ari Shaffir, Bryan Callen, and the rest. If the guest isn’t familiar, do a simple Google search and check their background. If there are any specific parts or discussions that intrigue you the most, drop us a line @BestofJRE and we’ll put it up!
127 is by far the best ayahuasca trip in Peru
Thanks! Your site was very helpful. I found it using Duck Duck Go, searching “top joe rogan podcast episodes”, FYI. I’ll be checking out the Duncan Trussell stuff first. Keep up the good work.

Graham Hancock by far, plus every Duncan Trussell, Shane Smith and Kevin Pereira. I’ll always throw in a bit of Giorgio Tsoukalos for a bit of madness, and the recent one with Dr. Steven Greer was even more insane
The Kevin Smith podcast was one of the earlier ones so it’s a little harder to track down, but there were some epic stories and inspiring conversations in that one.
